Caldy
GARDEN CONSTRUCTION
Over the course of 14 weeks, the Caldy project exemplified a fusion of construction detail and natural aesthetics. At its heart, a large sunken paving area was meticulously crafted, featuring smooth natural paving framed by Cotswold stone walls with a natural stone coping. The garden’s focal point was a grand bespoke water feature, artfully constructed from concrete blocks and clad with rust multi-coloured slate cladding. This artistic centrepiece featured six handcrafted rustic copper tube spouts. Steps composed of Cotswold stone and smooth natural paving, gracefully ascended to a circular paved area, bordered by a Cotswold wall with a natural stone coping.
Structured hedging was planted to help enclose the space, offering shelter from prevailing winds. Delicate planting graced the entire landscape, providing a softening contrast to the hardscape elements. At the front of the property, a substantial rockery, adorned with contemporary planting, served as a captivating gateway to the house.
