Station Road
GARDEN CONSTRUCTION
At Station Road, a 13-week construction project unfolded, where traditional craftsmanship took centre stage. The sloped front garden of the property was turned into raised level walled kitchen garden.
Handmade bricks were used to create a series of walls that enclosed a picturesque timber frame greenhouse. Within these walls, new lawns were precisely laid, accompanied by a well-constructed gravel path leading to the greenhouse and fruiting espaliers planted agains the walls.
Behind the glasshouse, a ribbed urn water feature was installed, elegantly framed by herb planting. A comfortable seating area on gravel added both functionality and aesthetics to the space. To ensure privacy and enclosure from neighbouring properties composite fencing was erected at the bottom of the garden, complemented by the use of large pleached trees. This comprehensive construction combined traditional building techniques and aesthetics, resulting in a breathtaking front garden.
