Great Washbourne
GARDEN CONSTRUCTION
The construction project at Great Washbourne spanned 5 weeks, focusing on the creation of a serene and natural landscape. An organically-shaped pond was expertly crafted and framed by a natural rockery, featuring carefully selected pond and marginal plants. The pond area was encircled by plantings perfect for wildlife, establishing a habitat for nature.
Providing access over the pond, a rustic handmade pontoon bridge was constructed, boasting a sturdy timber structure and a balustrade crafted with rope. Natural sandstone paths were carefully laid and framed by lavender hedging and a metal arbour leading to a beautiful natural stone seating area framed by perennial and shrub planting.
